The possibility of Francisco Elson returning to the Nuggets increased dramatically following the Marcus Camby trade. Oklahoma City, Charlotte, New Jersey and possibly the Lakers are also interested in Elson.
http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... _in_elson/He'd be a good backup to Andrew, and I'd give him about 2-3 million of the MLE.
PG: Derek Fisher/ Jordan Farmar/ Joe Crawford
SG: Kobe Bryant/ Sasha Vujacic/ Coby Karl
SF: Lamar Odom/ Trevor Ariza/ Luke Walton
PF: Pau Gasol/ Vladimir Radmanovic/
C: Andrew Bynum/ Francisco Elson/ Chris Mihm
Would be a good pickup I think, if we can't get Kurt Thomas.

just sticks his foot in the door or what

Whats goin on with kurt thomas? Is he coming to a decision soon? Has the lakers offering him a deal even official or just a rumor?

If we can't get KT,
Do it, Mitch!
I wanted him a few years back (the same year I wanted to trade a healthy Mihm for Nene in as-is-condition but got voted down). Then SA signed Elson and Mihm went down and I was pissed. I'm surprised they're letting him go. He runs the floor like a deer, which should fit well with our defensive oriented showtime ball of next season. EDIT: At least that's the style I'm hoping we'll play... Phil, listen to your boss.

I believe KT's preference is the spurs. heres the link,
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post ... =nba,92664I really wanted to trade for KT when he was in seattle, just a swap of kwame for KT but i will be honest and say that i am fine with the Kwame, picks, retired players, and JV for Pau. I think KT will be a great role player for us, knows when to come in and play hard when to hit that open mid range. He reminds me a lot of horace grant, and i wish we have a chance to sign him.

2 mil? Yes
3 mil over 3 years? Hell no. I'd rather match Turiaf's offersheet.

7 foot, 235. 5th year out of Cal. Has career averages of around 3 or 4 points a game. 2-3 million for that. Well I do not think Denver wants to let him go, but it will be interesting to see where he goes and how much he will make.

How come no one has mentioned Carl Landry. I know he's a RFA but if we threw the MLE at him then I don't think Houston would match it.

I think Houston would match because of Ming's minutes needing to be decreased. I am surprised nobody offered him anything yet though.

^Carl landry has a lot of potential. But i dont think that would have been a smart move for us. He is potential and that is it. I like his hustle and i think he will only get better but for now i dont think he is acheivable. Houston would match anyway just because they know he has a lot of potential and they dont have a lot of skilled bigs besides scola and Yao. everyone else was decent but didnt have the upside landry does.
