Josh Childress and his huge afro and ugly jumper are leaving to Greece. More and more players are leaving for europe instead of playing in the NBA i.e. Carlos Delfino, Childress, Juan Carlos Navarro, Bostjan Nachbar, and maybe The Machine. Those Euro teams pay well i guess

It's the economy. European teams can afford to pay well since the US dollar is getting dominated by the Euro.

Plus it would be like being paid ridiculously more money to be on vacation. Who wouldn't go for that?

To add to that, his contract also has an opt out clause after every season. So if he hates it he can always go back to the NBA.

Yeah that seems like a great clause for me but most NBA players don't like to move away from the USA unless the pay is really good.

I was a little confused with his contract details there, he is referring to something like $ 20 mil, so is that over a multi year period of time or is he getting that much for one season?

lol nah. Its actually gonna come out to more than 20mil over the 3 years.

The deal is supposed to be 20€ million (net). That means the deal is worth $32 million net, which would be roughly a 3-year, $50 million deal in the NBA.
