I'm curious as to not only which sites you get info from, but how you rank them and your method.


Generally, I'll start by going through the rumors at Insidehoops.com, then checking RealGm for wiretap and posted threads.

Then I'll Check Foxsports followed by ESPN.com. and Sports Illustrated via cnn.com. I occasionally check out nba.com,kb24 and LG as well.


As far as ranking-
Insidehoops- best rumour recap

ESPN-fastest breaking news but awful editorial reporting with crappy reporters

Fox- basically I like site layout and presentation more than anything

Hoopsworld-easily the worst basketball rag out there. No faith in a word they say.

RealGm- wiretap is sometimes misleading or downright insulting, but does seem to
be largely up to date with many stories.

I'd love to know how you go about researching, what you like or don't like, and if there are any hidden gems I'm missing.

I like a few of those listed. I go to a few and they seem to over lap each other. Real GM I go to just to see the new subjects posted. Not much info here. Anytime you get a interesting subject. It gets locked. ESPN is good and the hoopsworld and insidehoops are good.

I start off with prosportsdaily.com under NBA rumors - Decent site, generally updates every morning.

Then I move on to hoopshype.com. Updates every morning and provides a link for every story and it shows players salary, teams salary, depth charts not bad.

thelakersnation is kool because they are now linked up with 570 AM.. So I'm "FEELIN' THEM" and the new blog is kool too

Then to cap it all off I come to realgm. Generally by this time I get all my updates from the previous sites mention sites. Gm has prolly the best board, alot insightful mods and ppls here...

www.insidehoops.com - Pretty cool site for a mish mash of nba info pretty much daily!

www.hoopshype.com - Same as above but sometimes more rumor than real news

Realgm always seem to be the best resource for the most up to the minute news and rumor...I usually read breaking news here then goto the other sites to get a variety of views, opinion and analysist from known beat writers

I go there too. But the problem with that site is that it doesnt update during the day....or at least I dont think so. But prosports and Hoopworld are the best sites to read while you are having a morning cup of Joe. They both do the same thing. The difference is that on prosportsdaily you can click on a team and get the latest. Hoops world list the headlines, along with a couple of paragraphs from newspapers from all around.
