Next year he is worth = 2,911,600 -- he also played ( sparingly ) at the end of last season, so I dont see why he wouldnt play next year.

His long term future will probably be riding on how he produces next season.

well money wise ariza is worth every penny, but long term is he a good fit with looking towards the future.him and jordy i think should be long term,lo-vlade-luke are a differnt story-even though i think luke will be a good piece off the bench-vlade i want gone since his performance in the finals.lo is and should be gone next year-theres no way he signs for less money just to stay here imo. well how long if any do we sign ariza? lock him long term 3-4 mill a year or is he worth more?

I think Ariza could land anywhere from 4-6 a year if he were to hypothetically sign a contract right now. If Ariza does end up producing next year like I really think he should, you might see that number increase slightly. I can see him improving his jumper slightly, however, I don't see him becoming a shooter in the true sense of the word. His form just isn't there and I can't really say anything about the work ethic needed to do so, for I simply have no proof either way at this point.

He has shown immense potential obviously, and I was especially excited to see how quickly he started producing after the injury in the limited minutes he was given (far too limited in my opinion). He really is the type of player that we do need. I don't believe he is the lockdown defender that he has been labeled recently, but he definitely is pretty good on ball, and his length and athleticism allow him to cheat a bit in the lanes. I hope we can keep him.

As stated before by others, I believe we need to see a full year's production from him to make such an assessment. If he performs at the level at which he did before getting hurt, I would think he is worth the MLE. I don't think Mitch would hesitate offering him a 3-4 yr MLE contract.

I think he's going to have to show a lot off the bench this season to stick. I hope he does, but with our payroll.. I don't know. It's going to be tough keeping this team together.

Ariza is a heartbreaker. Even if he busts out and gets 15 and 6 he is always gonna get hurt.
I told you guys he has serious foot problems then he breaks his foot in practice.
