DJ is a real 7 footer with limited skills that does pass and can block and score on dunks. Taylor is more of a scoring, slow, sometimes fat forward. I would say in the 6'10 range. Scores, does not rebound, does not really pass to well, has done little in the last 3 years. I pass.

Mbenga will not get more than the minimum and I doubt he gets any significant offers from Europe either. We're his best option and possibly only option at this point.

Its either Lakers or no NBA at this point for Mbenga. He wont be getting much more than the minimum anywhere else.

I highly doubt hell opt for the latter,

by what would jack bauer do?
I doubt we'd keep Mo Taylor past the preseason if we signed him. With the talk of Bynum's recovery being on target and the Powell signing, I think we're going to be solid up front. Before I was thinking we might have trouble with both Bynum and Mihm being healthy, but reports this summer make it sound like they're both going to be ready. I mean Mbenga is a solid 15th man... but he really isn't that important even if two of our bigs go down. Worst case scenario is we see a 3 man rotation of Gasol, Odom, and Powell with Radman or Luke playing a little 4 at times. Even with that front court we're still elite 4 in the west and all we'll need is for Bynum to be healthy by playoff time.

I'm really pulling for Mihm to finally be healthy... the dude gets no respect because of the last two years, but the truth is before his multiple ankle surgeries he was a starter caliber center. If he's 80% the player he used to be then we're going to have a pretty good back up center.
