The LA Lakers are really good, but alot of critics are going to have a hard time believing the fact that this team could be one of the best teams ever assembled in this decade. As a matter of fact on paper this team is simply the most dominating starting 5 we have calculated together so far.
C- Andrew Bynum ( Health, Health, Health)
PF - Pau Gasol
SF - Lamar Odom
SG- Kobe Bryant
PG - Derek Fisher ( Jordan Farmar in the wing)

If there is one area of concern that may keep this team from being compared to the greats of this decade. It is simply the bench is not as deep as most dynasty teams. The Lakers have a formidable bench but losing Turiaf really hurts the energy this kid brought to the team and its bench.

Evaluation: ScoutingtheNBA.com sees the Lakers as winning 66 games next season. The health of Bynum is crucial to this total, because Gasol would have to move back to Center which would reduce the Win total by about 7 games. The biggest over/under question again is the health of Bynum.

Point Guard - We are hoping to see this position increase in Ci-Value. Currently Farmar is actually outperforming Fisher when it comes to court impact minute per minute. Farmar is getting better and maybe he can have a breakout season much like Rondo did last season. Farmar needs to be the epitome of a distributor first - playmaker second. He needs to take command of the offense and push his Ci-Value up around 15. There is no way anyone would bet against the Lakers not to win the championship if Farmar was to step up in this manner.

Sky's the limit for this roster if we can stay healthy and keep the chemistry as good as it was last season. Odom having worked on his mid range jumper is key.
