like before, earlier in his career he would just straight up answer questions
and now he just seems to have a positive vibe

Probably because he doesn't feel the need to be defensive about his game or personality anymore.

He seems more loose in his interviews. It started by about the All Star break this past season. He's not as direct to his answers. He jokes around more than usual. That type of stuff.
Like in his MVP acceptance conference, I think they asked him a question like, "Looking back, would you have handled anything different last summer (referring to the Bynum comments and whatnot)?"
His answer?
"I was right all along........ im joking".
He would have never answered like that 2-3 years ago.

Yeah, the Olympic gold and being dubbed as the best of (and by) the best must have made a big difference for him. He seems to be in a really good place, right now. That combination of confidence and humility will spread to the rest of the team. He's come a long, long way as a leader since Shaq left.
