Powell isn't going to start this early. Powell might not even crack the rotation this season.

Re: Pre-Season Starting line up
PG: Derek Fisher/ Jordan Farmar/ Brandon Heath or Joe Crawford/
SG: Kobe Bryant/ Sasha Vujacic/ Coby Karl
SF: Lamar Odom/ Trevor Ariza/ Dwayne Mitchell
PF: Pau Gasol/ Vladimir Radmanovic/ Josh Powell/
C: Andrew Bynum/ Chris Mihm/ DJ Mbenga
That's what I'm guessing for the pre-season. Phil will put the starters in and have them play a couple minutes just to get some rhythm and that's it. I expect Fish, Kobe, Pau to play 15-20 minutes a game.
Farmar, Sasha, Ariza, Bynum, Lamar, Mihm, Radmanovic and Powell will probably get the most playing time. In that order.

Re: Pre-Season Starting line up
When do the preseason games start? Man, these offseason days are going by sooooooo slowly I can't take it anymore.
(sorry for the off topic question, but it's 1:10 AM and I'm too lazy/sleepy to go look it up)

Re: Pre-Season Starting line up
I'm hoping to see more of Farmar and Ariza in the pre-season to see if they improved their games.
If Lamar Odom actually does come off the bench for both pre-season and regular-season, I wouldn't be surprised if Luke Walton started as SF especially if he played like he did during contract year.
I'm looking forward to seeing the bench run with Farmar, Ariza, and Odom leading the way, perhaps they will start in the pre-season with Kobe and Pau/or bynum.

Tyler what happened to Luke Walton in that rotation or am I just blind? Not that I care much for him to be included in the rotation.

Re: Pre-Season Starting line up
I agree imworthy, serves absolutely no purpose at all. We know what they can do already, we need to see something from the young guns like Jordan,Trevor,Drew,Sasha and the reemergence of Mihm if he's going to be a factor for us.iamworthy wrote:i dont see Fish, Kobe or Gasol getting much run in the pre-season.

Oh, I took Luke and Sun Yue out of there because of Luke's ankle surgery (Won't play for a couple weeks), and Sun's mono. (Out indefinitely)
If they were in there, it would be different for sure. Hope that clears you up on my reasoning.
