see for yourself

#10 is Pau
It's been well-documented that the Lakers took off last season and finished last season playing close to .800 ball after acquiring Gasol from Memphis. The 7-foot, 250-pound Gasol averaged 18.8 points and 8.8 rebounds for the Lakers after the February trade and clearly galvanized the team. However, he was playing center on that team. This season, with young Andrew Bynum back from knee surgery and moving to center, Gasol must prove to be effective at power forward. He was disappointing in the Finals loss to the Celtics when things got rough and it was a rude awakening to the Lakers. On paper, the Lakers with Gasol, Bynum and Lamar Odom have the most potent frontcourt in the game. But can they be productive together? It may come down to how Gasol fits as the epicenter of coach Phil Jackson's triangle. In nine months, we'll know if it works.

Ok first of all Boozer isn't better than Pau, Jamison isn't anymore, and I think he's ranked too low. Second he's not likely to get a ton of credit considering how stacked we are now. But to me Pau is #1 on this list in passing and his defense will look alot better with a center like Drew behind him.

I'd rank him 7-5 on this list.

^^^ Not a bad list. I'd but Dirk in front of Amare, for now atleast.

Al Jefferson should be ahead of Pau too. Unless they put him as a Center.

Yeah Al Jefferson deserves a place on that list and Jamison doesn't belong there.

Its good to see no one is questioning Tim Duncan is the #1. He really deserves it.
Is Duncan already the best PF ever?

i agree with the list. pau is good but i think alot of people overrated him when the lakers took off. doesn't really matter. i would rather have the best team than the best player at any position anyway.

I know Duncan has more Rings, but for my money, I would rate Karl Malone over him..

No way, really.. the guy with no rings? I understand his longevity, skill, and late career MVP's make him one of the best, but I just don't think he's better than Tim. If you sub Karl out and put Duncan on the teams with Stockton I have to think Stockton would have gotten a couple rings.
