Lakers Predicted to Win Championship

The exclusive survey, providing fans with an inside look into the minds of NBA decision-makers on the season, revealed that 46 percent of GMs believe the Lakers will win their 15th NBA title in 2009. The defending NBA champion Boston Celtics received 19 percent of the vote, followed by the New Orleans Hornets with 12 percent. For the first time in five years, the majority of GMs did not select the San Antonio Spurs (eight percent) to win the title.

Lets just hope we have a good season with no injuries and make it to the playoffs.
Thats all Im looking forward to for now. Then hopefully after that the Con, finals and then the NBA finals. But for now a good preseason to get rid of all of our gliches and problems.

Someone also predicted back in june that the Lakers would need the maximum of 6 games to win the NBA Title. So funny !

Boston is the team to beat, regardless what any poll says.
That's the mentality we need to be carrying into the season. We haven't done a damn thing yet. Stay hungry and focused, and that will change.

NBA Champs are still Boston. If anything id want them to vote against the lakers. Another reason for boston to come back to prove it all over again.
