Any word on the severity or if he will miss any time? Haven't seen anything yet.

I read he was listed day to day and will be re-examined today. No updates yet.

He should be fine.

It doesn't sound serious.. but I haven't seen the video or heard what he's had to say yet.

Doesn't sound serious at all, Kobe turned down an MRI and Phil doesn't sound too worried about it. No matter what, Phil should sit Kobe until opening day and let him rest his legs. There's been a lot of miles burned on those legs this past year alone.

I hope he will be fine for season opener. Phil needs to sit him. We don't need to overburden him with those meaningless preseason games.

He's possible to play 2morrow.

He's fine.

Kobe's knee okay; didn't get much sleep - been testing out his knee instead.

Kobe’s knee seems to be just fine…

Bryant addressed the media himself after Jackson was done; click HERE to watch the video.

Here are some of the major points covered by Bryant:

He’s used to getting injured, but it’s the minor ones that worry him because little tweaks can sometimes wind up being serious. Kobe was concerned last night but it “feels OK” right now.

On whether he’ll play tomorrow: “If I’m good to go, I’ll go. I don’t see why not.” Bryant added that he “should be fine” for the opener, not seeming concerned at all.

Bryant said the scariest part was doing tests for areas of the knee like the ACL, but fortunately, there was no soreness in that movement.
He’s very relieved.

He wasn’t convinced he was going to be OK until this morning, when there was no swelling and the movement was pretty good. He’s putting weight and pressure on it already.

Bryant didn’t sleep much last night, opting to get up every once in a while to stretch out and test his knee.

When asked about his initial reaction upon sustaining his injury, Bryant said, “I saw the (championship) ring flash before my eyes. I was pretty worried there for a second.”

Talk about dedication to the game...

That is crazy. Kobe's dedication is unparalleled by anyone in sports.

Did you guys watch the video?? When Pau walked in the background with his shirt off? I would of never guessed him for a skinny-fat guy! It looks like he's never worked out once his whole life. I think if Pau transformed his body to be more athletic and tone that would give him the extra nudge to consistently hit the 20 n 10 mark. LOL at Pau being a Skinny-fat guy. Who would of known?
