I don't know if any of you guys do this also, but I joined the Lakers text bot last year and it's pretty cool. If i'm not mistaken all you have to do is text "MYLAL" to 66196 then you're in. This is a text bot that text messages you Laker updates, and scores if you miss the game. Even though I'm pretty up to date with my Laker stuff already via realgm, lakersground, and am570. But this text bot is still pretty cool. THey'll text you info on injured players as soon as it's available. They'll also text you results of MRI tests for players and all that good stuff before it becomes public. I'm sure i'm not the only one who does this. For all you guys that do this also, how do you like it?

Ha. The only time I would get mad at the text messages was when the Lakers would have a tough loss. And I'd forget about it, then the next day I'd get a text message about it and it would just ruin my day . I remember it too. It was last year after Bynum got hurt, before we traded for Pau when we lost that close game to Detroit on a game winning 3 by Tayshaun. (I think it was Tayshaun). That game really pissed me off.

Ya there's no fee except normal text rates by your phone provider. From what I remember, you just text "MYLAL" to 66196 from your phone and it will automatically add you to the list. It provides updates, scores, latest laker news, results on tests of injured players. It's all good stuff.

To stop you text "STOP" to the same number at any time then it'll stop. And again, No there is no charge. The only thing u pay for is ur normal text rates that u have set up with ur phone company. That's all. No additional fees. It's just a text message

Sorry for not being too trusting. Can we have some mods vouch if this is free, besides texting charges?

Angry much? Thanks for the helpful thing, but is it really that wrong for me to not trust random online people?

Anyway, I texted mylal to 66196 and it gave me an error message...?
