First of all, we have only played 2 games, so its a pretty early to start getting all hyped up about our success. Honestly its a joke.
Also I know Im one of the most outspoke poster on this board as well as other boards and I do know that I do talk a lot of smack, but I dont go looking for trouble and I dont go on other boards and post disrespectful threads like certain posters.
As far as the older posters on here they know what to expect and they know how to handle themselves but it seem that a few posters that troll other boards dont realize something very important, when you troll other boards and you post certain threads or reply, not only are you making yourself look bad but your making the rest of us look bad.
Now again I know that Im not perfect and I never said I was, but I know that I respect others as they respect me and I find it disrespectfull when I see Laker posters posting nonsense and attacking other boards and members if its not defending your argument or discussing it in a reasonable fashion or manner.
We are running ahead of ourselves if we think we are the team to beat, since the team to beat is the Cs, so with that in mind lets not start threads about how gifted or how many games or championships we can win.
Lets get to the end the regular season first with everyone healthy and then hopefully to the playoffs and then to the finals.
All I can say is we really dont have too much love on this board outside of the Lakers board and when we represent the Lakers we are not only representing ourselves but the Purple and Gold, that means everyone on this board as well.
So lets come down and let our team do all the talking.

Who trolls other boards and how do you know about it?
I honestly don't know so I am not asking to say your wrong. What do the people say Lakers are gonna kill you and stuff like that?

Take my word for it. Im not going to bring up posts and threads, since all it will do single out these posters, but again Im not a Mod nor the teacher here.
All Im saying is we are all jumping ahead of ourselves and we need to come down.
And thats only a friendly advice like the title says it is, its not a request or a demand, just an advice.

I only ask because I don't know what you would say at another board because were far superior to every other team besides the Celtics (who we are better then now) but we cant even go to the Celtics board because we lost.

Good suggestion TM, I hope they listen. You seem like a down to earth guy, if this board ever went to a bar together and some of the guys here get in a fight I can see you as one of the first ones to jump in to have their backs.

No matter how well our team plays, don't troll. Not only do you bring back trash to this board, you also fuel the fire of a reputation of our fan base that isn't true. Let's let the good play and classy conduct of the Lakers help us to be classy, good players, as well. There's nothing worse to a foe than a classy and well mannered winner. Trolling is for stupid kiddos.

When you leave this board to go trolling elsewhere, you're on your own, and subject to scrutiny by the local mods. I'm glad you brought it up, Tony. Didn't know it was going on.

Star, we won 2 games what prove can you provide that we are far more superior than every team? Bos are the champs until someone dethrones them. Let's not get cocky when there are 80 games left.

I agree EE, this is what seperates us and makes our fan base unique in its own way, but then you have certain rift rafts that float through here that tend to give us a bad rep and a bad name.
As far as it going on, ya.
It has since the first game against the Blazers and then the Clippers and now its floating on other team boards, and it has turned ugly on some boards when they are basically labeling all the Laker fans as idiots and classless. Specailly when they read posts like the one above us being posted on our own board.
But I think were cool now.

^^^then don't complain when there are consequences. There are rules that governs theses violations for a reason.

I made this post to share something that I have noticed, so it would be very immature on my behalf to sit here and argue with another Laker Brah.
So I wont take that route, but I will say this, that issue to me is water under the bridge so I will be a bigger man and say............ My bad Brah I apologise and Im over and done with it.

Rox, I think your answer was directed to me brah and thats the part I think Danny didnt get, but to address it as best as I can.
I started this thread cause of a couple of vet posters, peps that are on this board as normal posters, not your 15 post trolls.
So thats the part I was upset about, I think if you have been on here more than a year then you should know what our board and our mods are expecting from us.
So again it wasnt a rookie poster, these were two good posters which I happen to like and respect.
Again I never said Im perfect, and God Knows Im not, BUT I dont go out picking a fight but I will take the fight to whoever it maybe, maybe not as kind and friendly as some of the poster on here...... example....... Phil, Dcash, Miles, Etc.
But in my own ways sometimes I am wrong and I know that I am, and I try to redirect the issue but if doesnt stop then its wrong of me to continue to deal with ignorance and Ill just walk away from it or it might get LOCKED.
But again this post isnt and wasnt ment for anyone in general, it was ment for everyone EVEN MYSElF.

It's quick for the trolls to forget how a lot of us felt last summer with the Kobe trade demands and trolls on the Laker board daily saying how Lakers were going to become insignificant, that Bynum would be a bust.

We're also an injury away (ahem, Kobe) from being a favorite to trying to make the playoffs... lets not tempt karma.....
