2000 and because I wasn't alive for the ones before and the first ones are always the best ones.

I remember watching the finals in love with that team.

The team that gave me the most suspense yet fun to watch.

When they won the crucial games... i stepped out of my dorm room balcony and looked toward the skys and thanked god but just when i did and looked around... others were doing the exact same thing as the exact same moment. That was just plan kewl.

2001 for me. We were untouchable in the playoffs then. One loss against the 76 ers and thats it!

2001, it was my first full year as a fan. I watched about every game, every playoff game. Then watched the lakers absolutely dominate the post season. going 15-1. Amazing feat. Ill never forget it.

2000....no doubt. It's like the first time playing a video game that you eventually play over and over again and become insanely good at. You might be insanely good, but you think about the beginning first, about when you weren't so great and experienced with winning. That's when you went through your struggles, and eventually came away with your most exciting and satisfying victory. That was the 2000 Lakers.

Plus, Shaq is and was my favorite player, and 2000 was his to own in every way. Kobe really started to come of age and show just how great he could be. The role players that had been there through the struggles (playoff struggles I mean) in the late 90's were rewarded and played amazingly well. They were dominant in the regular season, and even had a 19 game winning streak (ended by the wizards...I'll never forget that for some reason lol). They were shaky all the way through the playoffs (except the second round vs. the suns), but came out with a title.

2001 showed the ultimate potential of that team, but I'll always love that 2000 team over any other.

87, 88 -- those were the teams that really made me fall in love with basketball. If I live to be 1,000, there will never be another player I enjoy watching more than I did Magic. An absolute one-of-a-kind genius.

Although, I must say it's hard for me to single any of these out. After winning those titles, and going through the long road back -- Magic's retirements, getting swept out of the playoffs by Utah and SA -- you wonder if you're ever going to get back. When we did, it was such a joy.

In some ways, though, I found the last two titles to be marred, however slightly, by all the in-house drama. Championships are championships, and I was lucky enough to see the last two games of the Nets sweep live in Jersey -- an experience I'll always treasure. But as for the overall journey, it just seemed like one thing after another after another. It got so old.

2008-09

1985, we put the Garden ghost to rest, and won one for Mr. Logo. Also KAJ was supposed to be washed up and end up the finals MVP. Game 6 in the Garden was by far the greatest win in Laker history.

Don't know which year exactly, but I love the Dynamic Duo faaashooooo.

Wow that is amazing El Hardee you chose my same same team & my exact reasons! WOW! well I'll add this then, this team was on a mission after blowing the title to the Celtics the year B4, They really should have swept the Celtics, intead lost in 7 games

They were all so incredibly sweet. I'll never forget any of them.

Of course if I had to chose, the title we won over the Cs was specially awesome, as was the first of the 3 peat titles only because we had gone so many years without one.

It had to be the year with Glen Rice. They mop the floor with all the other teams.
