Love our Lakers logo, just wish Los Angeles was all on it, seems it runs off to the side and it does not show. Not sure if it is this logo of if it is every logo. Suns logo looks better than it was years ago.

The Suns offense looks like players are still trying to figure out what to do and how to play in the new system under Porter. Shaq has had a few impressive games where he's putting up big numbers. Ultimately, the Lakers are too deep and versatile for them especially between Gasol and Kobe.

Lakers win this.

Going to be a good tough game. One of our many test-us-to-the-max teams. For sure both kobe and shaq will play their hardest to win. I hope Shaq doesn't use his law of physics on any of our smalls lol.

It'll be a good matchup - bynums' chance to out duel the veteran and Gasol's finesse vs. Amire brute strength.

Sure the suns aren't running D'antoni's system but Amare will be a monster. This should be a fun game to watch tho, I know in public Kobe's doing the right thing and saying all the right stuff... I hope deep down inside he whats to throw down a nasty dunk on Shaq, posterize him... still it should be a tight game.

I hope we're amped to play the suns. We coasted vs the Bulls, which was a bit disappointing after Detroit.

Anyway this is one of those games we need to kick the Suns in the mouth. Mental wise Shaq doesn't have that hunger to destroy us any more, been talking too nice about Kobe and talking about returning here the flame has burnt out. But most important they have to plant seeds of doubt, they can't beat us like they use to. And just think they've never played us with both Drew and Pau.

Bynum needs to do two things:

1) If he runs the floor hard on every possession, Shaq will be outplayed in this game, period.

2) When Shaq backs him down in the low post, PULL THE CHAIR!!! What's Shaq going to do after a couple of embarrassing ass-falls? Just do it to it, Mr Fellow!



Besides that, this is no push-over team. Nash can still ball with the best of them. So can Amare, Barbosa and Diaw. Shaq might be old and fat, but he can still do serious damage.


My keys to the game:

1) Defend the perimeter. They're going to run the elusive Nash pick and roll and pick and pop all night. We absolutely cannot allow dribble penetration against the Suns the way we have in the last two games. If we do, we can easily lose this game. This is a red flag game, in my book.

2) Feed the Bynum-beast early each half court possession. Establish the low post and play a fast inside-outside-inside game. Shaq-Fu will foul out and then what are they going to do with Bynum and Gasol?

Amare is going to abuse us but Pau has just as much of an advantage with his length and Amare's terrible defense.

i'm really not liking this matchup. wouldn't be surprised with loss #2 and a 20 minute foul trouble all game performance by bynum.

How about Bynum does his donut roll on Shaq again, and then goes down court and pushes Shaq again, and Shaq get a T and he gets kicked out of the game......... Haaaaa did you think about that??????? LOLLLLLLLLLLL

they match up well in the front court on offense, but not very well on defense

especially in a pick and roll situation, hopes kobe and gasol/bynum do a lot of that this game and get their bigs into foul trouble early and often
