My favorite PG on a conference rival. I hate when we play Chauncey Billups because I've always wanted him on our team. Fish will have his hands full. So will Bynum, because Nene will now get good touches in the paint. This will be a very difficult game. Destroy them!!!

Go Nuggets!

Beating the top team in the West (and arguably, in the entire association) would prove whether or not Denver is a serious championship contender.

It's still too early to tell how the playoffs will pan-out, but it's not too early to make predictions.

If we beat the Celtics in Boston, we can beat y'all in L.A. too!! I just hate how it seems you guys have our number! EDIT: For Going Off-topic and baiting. Warning.

A win or loss in this game doesn't determine anything in the overall picture of an 82 game season except for a win or a loss. As for Denver, we are thin up front if the Lakers get one of our 2 bigs in foul trouble they will attack the rim at will. It is a road game which makes getting the win that much more difficult. The Lakers are on a back-to- back, but Phoenix didn't do much to help us out with that. Would I like to see us get the win, of course and it is possible. But, the odds are stacked against us in this one.

Damn, you guys (Lakers) have some size and depth up front and can run bigs at us in waves, so even if Nene and Kmart can stay out of foul trouble they will still have to get a breather or two and while they are you guys can stay big.

Good post Brahh.
I think this will be a good match up, you guys coming out of Bean Town with a W and your team has seriously stepped it up with the addition of Chauncy.
Its going to be a good matchup and I think its safe to say that our bench should be the key to this game.

We better take these guys serious. We can't do what we did with the bulls and get away with it. They are riding the Chauncey wave and that means they are working as a team and more disciplined. Vlad needs to play his best D and we need to run them early and often when the 2nd unit comes on.

i guess this is a bigger game than i thought it was. denver is playing well and riding a hot streak. looking forward to it a little more now. i'd hate to have to hear about denver's status as some type of contender because they beat the celtics and the lakers.

I think if you run against us with your second unit it might play to our benefit in this game. Our bench can run with anyone. I think the best option for the Lakers is to pound it inside and when that stops working, pound it inside some more. We are very thin up front if you can get to our bench.

Look at the size matchups up front
Gasol 7'0" Kmart 6'9"
Bynum 7'0" Nene 6'10" (they say he is 6'11", but I think 6'9" is more realistic)
RAD/Odom 6'10" Melo, Kleiza, 6'8"

Plus, you can bring in Powell or Mihm.
Our backup big (Andersen) is out with a broken rib, and I don't see GK giving Cheik Samb minutes in this contest unless it turns into a blowout.
