defend, defend, defend, watch for pick and rolls, and share the ball, even though the Kings are short some their best players, that makes them even MORE dangerous, this game, especially with the departure of the now defunct Seattle Supersonics, makes it a battle for the west coast, akin to college football rivalries, sacramento has a lot to prove, especially against the "big brother" that is los angeles and its lakers, this is always the battle for California, and while expectations are low for the KIngs this season, it would be nice if they can say they can take one from us in our building, and play the spoiler role...stay with our game, and look for the bench mob/second unit to really be the factor this evening, as their youth and speed will be the best matchup for this Sacramento squad.

Lakers need to learn the killer instinct, especially the 2nd unit.

up by 20+ and almost letting the other team back in the game. I liken Phil keeping the 2nd unit out there, maybe putting in a starter or two to a mother wolf or lioness letting the pup or cubs make the kill.... it's ugly but it gets done.

haha Love that Theus picture, makes him look like black Fabio. Keep the intensity up on the defensive end and keep the flow going on offense to get shots in rhythm. I'd like to see Bynum establishing the post presence and taking advantage of the defender. I hope to see Gasol keep up the all-star performance he's been bringing so far. I like the idea a lot of Kobe getting the other guys involved early on and then closing the deal towards the end. The bench has to bring the spark and show why they're deep and rich in talent.

Lakers go 11-1 with this win.

The Lakers are not chasing history this season... They are going to make history... We might be looking at an 81-1 or maybe 80-2 record Kobe and crew will have a relatively easy go of it tonight.

I see a Lakers vs. Celtics rematch in the Finals this year.
