Is this a cheap way of not sending me a Hallmark card?

Happy Thanksgiving, to those that celebrate it.

Happy Thanksgiving, it's a tough time in the country but that makes us all realize how important it is to have the things we value now.

Happy Thanksgiving. Or as the Natives call it, the Beginning of the End Day.
This was probably the best thanksgiving dinner I had, my brothers, sister in law, and my mom did all the cooking. I did some shopping and bought the booze and washed dishes.
17 pound turkey, ridiculously juicy
5 pounds hand-mashed potatoes w/ roasted garlic, green onion, and butter
magic gravy from turkey juices
homemade stuffing with a bunch of things that I don't know what goes in stuffing
handmade cranberry sauce with chunks of some kind of fruit
salad with candied pecans, asiago cheese, some fruit
string beans with almonds and some kind of sauce
about five gallons of homemade sangria
desert:
hot apple pie with haagen dazs vanilla, strawberry, and coffee ice cream
fruit tart cake
I did stuff my face something disgusting.
Now I think I have some serious heartburn/acid reflux. Ahh, the holidays.
I'm incredibly thankful for family and friends to share this dinner with. It makes me realize there's really nothing more important in life. Nothing makes me happier or more satisfied.
I send out prayers and thoughts to those who are less fortunate, who may not be able to afford such a meal, or people to share it with. And in such troubled times around the world, for those who have nothing, I hope we can help them find something to feel thankful for. And for the thankless at heart, I hope we learn to appreciate what we already have.
On a holiday that celebrates the survival of the earliest Americans, and the doomed cooperation from the natives, it seems clear that all good things in life come at a cost, even unwittingly, but they should always be borne together.
Cheers, stay warm, and God bless.
