WOW............. Karma or payback.

LAS VEGAS – A broken O.J. Simpson was sentenced Friday to at least 15 years in prison for a hotel armed robbery after a judge rejected his apology and said, "It was much more than stupidity."

The 61-year-old football Hall of Famer stood shackled and stone-faced when Judge Jackie Glass quickly rattled off his punishment soon after he made a rambling, five-minute plea for leniency, choking back tears as he told her: "I didn't want to steal anything from anyone. ... I'm sorry, sorry."

The judge said several times that her sentence in the Las Vegas case had nothing to do with Simpson's 1994 acquittal in the slaying of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
"I'm not here to try and cause any retribution or any payback for anything else," Glass said..

So you don't think he's guilty?

Four of his accomplices pleaded guilty and testified against Mr. Simpson, an N.F.L. Hall of Fame inductee, at a trial that played out like a low-key echo of his circuslike trial in 1995.

By the way. The thread is incorrectly titled. He has a MAXIMUM of 15 years and a MINIMUM of 9, according to The New York Times.

Read the article. Nobody was crying foul. OJ's own lawyer was relieved he didn't get life. Who says that when they think their client is innocent. Especially if it was a corrupt trial? He'd be calling for an appeal, not interviewing and commenting on the case like it's over with.

With the constant references to "Los Angeles" and "what happened in 1994" and any other assortment of references you wanna go to, you tell me how was he ever going to be judged by what happened there ?

Bottom line every one in Vegas wanted to make themselves for ever famous, and when you have the chance to do it your going to. Nevada has some f*cked up laws, years ago Reddick Bowe was charge for the same crime (kidnapping ) in New Jersey against his wife no less last I looked he was still free.

No condoning anything O.J. did because he was flat out stupid, if he wanted his sh*t that bad he could've call the police and flat out said hey" these guys stole my items", how could they not believe him when his personal likeness is all over it. Hell even if he didn't walk out of there with the stuff at least those other guys wouldn't have either.

Allen D. the great Lawyer stated OJ has great grounds for appeals and said his NFL pension is $25,000 a month while in joint, so he's not on food stamps. OJ is a oddity of life. 8-)
