Always a vocal leader, now officially a team leader.
Pretty impressive, considering he's been there just five months.

As a Warrior fan I love this guy and I can see why teammates/fans in LA loved him. He's just a delight to have on a team. I was at a game recently and during halftime shoot around Ronny saw Marco shooting around early so he ran out there and to rebound and feed him. He was so energetic about it and his positive energy is authentic. I don't think you can fake what he does.

Now if only Maggette would learn something from Ronny. I guess that's the difference between former Lakers and former Clippers. :D

That's a shock, considering he's having such a miserable season.

Good for Ronny, but what does this have to do with us ?

Not much other than he being a former Laker, hence the OT

Wow, some bitter Betties here.

We all loved Ronny on our team. He was a great guy. He's not on our cap now and hardly was before. So why rag on the guy?

Not really ragging, just making an observation. Go look at his numbers. I'm actually sort of surprised; I figured he'd thrive under Nelson, but he's having his worst season.

Interesting choice by Nelson. I loved Ronny when he was with the Lakers and was saddened when he left.
Capitancy in basketball has little to do with numbers and percentages and has everything to do with how well a player is respected by teammates and coaches. In that, Ronny excells. Nelson is probably sending a message to his players that what he wants is energy, hustle and enthusiasm.

Good for Ronny.

He probably got it due to his high spirit during games and in the locker room. The man is a human motivator machine hehe. Good for Ronny. I would love to see him one of these days as a Laker again.

No worries ST, the reference wasn't really meant to go your way. Can't argue with his numbers being down. And considering he's playing only 15 mpg, it is shocking. I just didn't want this to turn into a bitter thread, because when he was here Ronny got a lot of love.

Though one thing he appears to be doing well is blocking shots. He's 4th per game and 3rd total blocks in the league at just 15 minutes! And per 48 he's number 1. That was always his strong suit.

This would help to benefit Ronny in several facets of his game. I'm glad he's had this responsibility put on his shoulders.

I've always appreciated him and his energy that he gives the game. It sucks that he isn't on the Lakers anymore, but good luck over there in Golden State.

Ronny's ability to keep the team's spirits up and hearts together was a very overlooked aspect this past summer.

P.S. Turiaf isn't playing poorly so much as his minutes have been limited.

And despite playing so few minutes, Turiaf is still 4th in the NBA in blocks. Before you dismiss him as a foul machine, he's 5th in the NBA in blocks per foul, right above Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan.

Wish him the best of luck, and I think he was a great choice for team captain on that team.
