570 will no longer be Lakers station starting 2009.

Has this been talked about yet? Just heard that 710 acquired the rights as of 2009, I wonder what VTB will do now given his mancrush homerism on the Lakers every minute. The idiot called a 4-0 sweep of Boston last June and predicted a 24-0 start to this season.

wow, that sucks. matt money smith was great in the pre/post game show. does this mean thompson will be on both stations or leave the loose cannons?

The Cannons and VTB will still be around. I am sure this is just for the broadcast of the games. Hopefully this leads to Spero doing TV. That probably means MT will just do the cannons.

Yeah I have known 570 as the Lakers station ever since I was little, this will be weird. 570 was all I ever known, I turn to that station automatically everytime for Lakers news/games. I do wish they ban VTB from talking about the lakers though, he is the ultimate jinx.

Spiro and michael are going to do the 710 broadcasts, sorry dont have time to read the article if thats what it says. Yeah I wonder about money & pregame. What 710 should do is nab Petros and Money and dump that denholm and long show that make it easy for Money to make the easy transition.

This is not really a surprise considering the new ESPN studio is going to start up next season too. As you all know it's right across from Staples. Bitter sweet but business is business.

MT's future with the Cannon's seems in doubt according to the info you read in the link below. I hope Money goes along he's too good not to.

That's some of the funniest stuff I've read here in a long time.

I dislike Hartman about as much as you dislike VTB.

Money is very knowledgeable and very bright and quick in general. Plus, he's a classy, standup dude.

Petros screaming I could do without, although I must admit he's pretty funny at times.
