John Salmons appreciation thread !!!

This guy must be the most improved player, I really only noticed what he was doing versus the Lakers' this year until I saw his stats.

6-6 207 29 yrs old, 37.5 min a game, 19.4 ppg, 491 fg%, 394 from three, .802 from ft line and he gets their 4.6 times a game with his very quick game.

He would be perfect for this team, good shooter and can dribble drive and finish unlike--farmar, fish, vlad, Sasha, luke, Ariza.

He is signed for this year and two more at a very economical 5.1 million, 5.4 and 5.8.

He is tough to get but they have Kevin Martin coming back and Garcia and Urich and Bobby jackson at the two and three.

You take on a Brad Miller contract, B JAckson and Salmons and offer them the Odom expiring, the Mihm expiring and say Sasha and Farmar and you might get a top flight player like him.

This Laker team needs a shake up, they are soft--Farmar, Sasha, Vlad and Luke are not touching anyone out their.

Salmons could start at the point w/ his great handle or even at the three. A new bench of Miller who is triangle friendly and B Jackson and nice vet would be very nice additions.

Not to compare him and Kobe by any means but shooting wise: Salmons .491 fg/ Kobe .454 Fg and Salmons .394 from three and Kobe under .300 this year

Appreciation usually comes from a player who helps your team, not one who earns a rare win against you. I appreciate his beard though
