Today I read a post that is now locked, but I have to touch bases on it so this fellow fan of our wonderful team under stands where PJ is coming from.

Is was based on giving Odom minutes at the 3 spot, giving more minutes to Bynum, while taking minutes away from Walto and Radmanovic. Pj doesn't want out player logging heavy minutes in the regular season, he want to save tem for the post season. when we gt into the playoffs we'll have a tighter rotation as well: Fisher, Bryant, Walton, Gasol, Bynum, Odom, Farmar, Vujaic, and Ariza. Odom, Bynum, and Gasol will hold down the 4/5 spot, because they are our best fort court playeso why not same them for the post season by giving them less minutes. As for Walton he has played much better since moving to the starting line up. His defense is much better and he allow the ball to move much better. PJ know what he's doing and he's been doing a damn good job an trust me for eveything he does he has a good reason. Our team is good as is, the only way we make a trade is if Golden State would take Walton and Radmanovic for Jackson and thats not happing no time soon. The Minutes that the players are getting are right for right now we have to be fresh for the playoffs and this is going to help us out in a long run. Were fine as is tho:

SF:Walton/Ariza/Radmanovic
PF:Gasol/Odom/Powell
C:Bynum/Mihm/DJ
SG:Bryant/Vujacic
PG:Fisher/Farmar/Sun

come playoff time

SF:Walton/Ariza/Radmanovic
PF:Gasol/Odom
C:Bynum/Gasol
SG:Bryant/Vujacic
PG:Fisher/Farmar

I don't mind the rotation but come next year Odom will be gone w/ Ariza most likely because of the money put into Kobe, Gasol and Bynum 52 million. And that is not to mention another 25 million in the other 5 roster players--Vlad, Fish, Sasha, Luke and Farmar. They will only have 8 players signed and will be at 76 million $ in payroll. Over the cap and just under this years cap number by 2 million. So they will have to sign 6 or 7 players to contracts while already being over the cap that will be tough to add w/ no cap space to sign free agents.

I really don't think the are gonna give Ariza MLE money or Odom 10 million a year to be a reserve. So, I think the writing is on the wall for Lamar to go this year or other wise be in a bad situation next year. Lets hope if he is moved then Luke or Vlad is going w/ him. If they don't trade him then I don't see a way to have anykind of quality depth--especially on the front line. Odom, Mihm, Powell and even Benga are all free agents. They have nobody as a backup Center or Power Forward next year.
