Conspiracy Thoery: LO is Sucking Until After Deadline!

We talked (fellow) Laker fans and have found out the truth (we hope). LO has been sucking to devastate his trade value until the All-Star game. That way his teammates will have a better chance of making the team. Also, that way he wont be traded and he can take a smaller contract to help the Lakers.

After the break LO might play like a beast. He also may need to keep making mental lapses so people don't catch on to what he is doing. Shhhhhhh, don't tell anybody but Laker fans. It needs to be a secret or other. Mitch can never find out or he might tell another GM and they might try to trade Melo, Butler, or even LeBron for LO.

He told Chris Paul about the idea. CP3 helped lower Odoms value even more until after the deadline!

It was a common courtesy for fellow Olympians. KB24, Gasol, Odom, and Paul got together and planned the whole thing. Bynum tried to get in on the meeting. Gasol said its 2009 ot 2012. The Laker Olympians had to agree to let the Hornets win the game. Thats why Kobe left with 8 mins left in the 4th. He was so hot that he had to get out of the game so he wouldn't accidentally win it.

The X-rays prove the only reason LO is walking funny is because of a gangsta limp.

Your observations may be spot-on, but the reason he plays better after the trade deadline is not intentional, IMO.

Odom is a sensitive dude, no denying that. He is effected by the pre-deadline rumors. Nothing more.

Probably the only thing more absurd than saying Odom has sucked this year is implying an athlete would purposely play like $h*t in a contract year.

I'm an Odom fan but he is strange that he has regressed w/ the second unit.

He NEEDS to aim to take 10 shots a game get 10 boards off the bench. The Lakers would be a better team. I understand that he was passive w/ Kobe and Gasol on the floor but he should be more aggressive w/ the 2nd unit and run it much like he did w/ the Heat.

At some point, a player as unselfish as Odom (he can bring the ball up and loves to pass) deserves a chance playing w/ Fish Kobe Gasol & Bynum.

I KNOW Odom will play better once he cant get traded. He wants a ring and knows this team can win one. After the trade deadline he is playing for a contract.

^ Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. It's pretty clear that this team needs him pretty bad. Especially his defense (and of course his rebounding).

I meant under performing. You say the word sucking and every Laker fans misses the joke.

Do you think Odom will break out soon. Do you think he will take a stronger command of the 2nd unit and become a more efficient player that give the Lakers a better scoring punch and defensive effort as the Lakers gear up for the play-off??? Will LO unleash the beast with in???

he grabbed 10-11 playing 37 mpg, u think he just needs to aim to get 10 in 26-27 mpg? lol
