I pass on this one. Hinrich is a good player. We have nothing to trade that would make us better without giving up to much.

How about, a rack of basketballs and a used jock strap to be named later for Luke?

Re: The Kirk Hinrich BANDWAGON
Unless the Bulls are just looking to shed his contract, the Lakers have no pieces to make a trade for Hinrich worth happening. Trading Odom would be dumb even if it brought back Drew Gooden. Odom may not have stats or play to his contract but his ability to play mutiple spots along with others neat things is too much trade at this point. However if the Bulls were interested in Luke, Mihm, and Farmar for Hinrich then trade away. Love Luke, Chris, and Jordan but Hinrich would be awesome.

Re: The Kirk Hinrich BANDWAGON
I think they're probably starting to realize they might have made a big mistake with that contract, especially now that they have Rose entrenched at the 1 for the forseeable future. Hinrich had an awesome contract year and has been pretty much a dud in the two years since. If we could get 06-07 Hinrich, we'd have to think about it pretty strongly. Hinrich of 07-08 and 08-09, I'll pass.

OK I'm gonna call up my posse so we can rob that wagon before it gets to LA. Hinrich sucks.

Re: The Kirk Hinrich BANDWAGON
I would only do the Hinrich/filler deal for Odom if Buss still feels he can re-sign Ariza in the off-season.

Re: The Kirk Hinrich BANDWAGON
this fan base has some real ignorance when it comes to the financial strain that is about to hit the lakers in the next few years.
the lakers are looking at about 50 mil for 3 players (kobe, pau, bynum). you throw in the contracts of luke/walton/vlad/fisher, throw in a possible extension for farmar, a new contract for ariza...and there is just no way the lakers take on players making any amount of money like JO or hinrich or freakin michael redd.
odom is not going to be traded, and its because the lakers need to shed his salary, simple as that.
