Forget T.J. Simers

Post#1 » by laka4life » Tue Jan 20, 2009 10:43 pm

Why do commercials, flare and being a media-whore make someone the best player in the NBA?????

Please answer that for us T.J. Simers.

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-sim ... 476.column

Please visit this everyone, it makes me want to throw up.

Instead of talking about Kobe's toughness, Pau's discovery of the ability to use his body, Bynum's growth, Sasha's strong play, this idiot decides to write in Los Angeles about how LeBron is the best player in the game today...bar none.

I'm really hoping some of this was sarchasim because it all seemed so off based, it's ridiculous.

Kobe shot the ball better from the field (9-22 compared to 9-25) and was a better playmaker. Especially down the stretch. ALL WITH A DISLOCATED FINGER AND ANOTHER MANGLED PINKIE.

But let's not forget, LeBron shakes hands with celebrities and Brian Shaw before the game. That's what makes him so special. The cameras follow him, TNT analysts cry when flagrants aren't called, and Mike Brown stands up for him like he's a 2 month old infant.

For any Cleveland fan reading this, don't take it the wrong way. Firmly believe that LeBron is going to go down as Top 10 players ever no doubt, but to have the main storyline be about someone's team who lost just bugs the hell out of me.

I'll take Kobe anyday. Just gonna throw this out there: LEBRON MISSED 5 GAMES LAST YEAR FOR A BRUISED HAND......is there even a toughness comparison?

If anything, LeBron should be tougher because he's an absolute tank.

What I'm taking from this game is that mentally and physically, there is no tougher player in the NBA than Kobe Bryant.

Period, and that's the story I'll remember.

TJ Simers pushes buttons that's his MO in life, take what you want from it. Your response is what he's aiming at, it worked. ;).

Dude regardless 9-22 is nothing to brag about, they both shot horribly. You would be better off using his 12 assists as an argument. Busted hand or not, neither guy one up each other last night.

TJ is a Laker hater though so what do you expect?

Simers is nothing more than a real-life internet troll.

I haven't paid attention to him since 2003. Life is much easier that way.

It sounds to me like this guy has a man crash on LeBron. I saw the game last night and although LeBron is still a hell of a great player, his performance was not all that impressive. If that particular game got him all excited about The King, then he must have a crash on LBJ.

yeah, I remember that... Lebron actually sat out for like almost 2 weeks with a sprained pinky. Kobe played through a torn ligament and a broken bone on his shooting hand. Kobe is one of the toughest sob's to play the game.

yeah they both shot bad,but kobe did a much better job on lebron defensively, and even though kobe won't say it,his busted hand played a role in his shooting last night. kobe still controlled the game.
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!
