I don't know if you guys have heard, but MT was let go from Loose Cannons and the show is now hosted by Hartman and Chris Meyers. PMS is still the same but both shows went national.

Pretty Crazy stuff. I liked MT. But I think Fox let him go because he was going to go to ESPN anyways next year.

yeah, i was surprised when i tuned in earlier today and heard "the chris myers and steve hartman show". sucks that there is ZERO exclusively local shows on klac now. when they lose the lakers, ouch. luckily pms stayed relatively the same, and if i recall petros started the show by announcing that this is LA radio, and the rest of the nation better get used to it.

So what about Vic the Brick? That guy is hilarious.

Yeah, wondering the same thing about Vic. That's a shame they had to do that.

vic is going to be doing the updates for the hartman/myers and pms show. pretty sure about that.

PMS should be relocated to Orange County and broadcast only to Orange County

Sucks ass man, huge fan of the show and KLAC. Talking about lakers 24/7 was like a dream come true. Sucks hard. Also, they released my overnight favorites Ben Maller and Karen Kay. I refuse to listen now. Except Rome and maybe petros and money.

i liked mthompson. thats sad.

hilariously bad in his nonsensical faux-buddhist ramblings. everytime vtb opens his mouth it's like playing mad libs with a philosophy major who just smoked an eighth by himself.

I still cant believe it. Ill likely hear more of my ipod and maybe ESPN's station now.

Some people speculated that this has something to do with the lakers leaving KLAC for espn after this season.

from what i've read this is just some ol fashioned cost cutting via job cuts. clear channel also cut a bunch of jobs from their san diego affiliate.

... 570 Dan Patrick He gets the best guests in sports radio, 570 Rome The best show on sports radio but you have to invest hours to get the full benefit, 570 Hartman/Myers for an hour not sure this will work, switch to 710 @1 to Ireland/Mason The Big Show (There's your local Laker fix) I really like Ireland he's great Mason is a trip he's a great complement to Ireland but by himself he stinks if John's not there it's sucky radio, PMS 570 highly entertaining...

The Loose Cannons had their run they've been a broken record for years now. That show should have died long ago. Mychael is fine he's still got his easy Laker gig which he does great at, don't cry tears for him, he prolly welcomes the free time.

in the morning u should try the sports lodge with dave smith and roger lodge on am830.

no this sukks straight up, dan patrick is good, rome is rome, but the cannons were entertaining, and the fusion with pms/cannons was great, and i even liked joe mcdonnel, and then ben maller and karen were very entertaining...

f 570, f clear channel, erik eleven, you ever been screwed by clear channel?, i wont listen to 570 anymore except for lal games, hell they were better playing oldies than this boring uninspired NATIONAL crap...

very depressing...

the sports lodge is on at the same time as dan patrick. its basically the only local show on la radio before 1pm.
