Dom McGuire ain't a center.

Dom is a forward but right now the Wiz have been playing him at SG on offense to allow Butler to play SF where he's most comfortable. Dom's got fair handle, good eye for passing. Pretty talented rebounder and passer but can't much hit a shot, decent defender though. He'll probably guard Kobe.

So:

PG Mike 'Chucker' James, 6'2" shooting guard. Jacking shots like a sunnovagun.
SG The Live wire Dom McGuire 6'8" forward
SF 'Tough Juice' Caron Butler 6'5" in socks.
PF 6'9" undersized finesse forward Antawn Jamison
C 6' 11" wannabe-finesse forward Andray Blatche

Tweeners all across the board.

We'll play our reserves a bunch in the blowout:

C-- 7 foot ath-elite JaVale McGee. Still learning where to be but ungodly athleticism for a kid that long. He can block a rainbow jumper at the apex. High center of gravity measn he'll get shoved around inside most nights.

SG -- 6'7" Nick Young. SoCal kid, y'all know him. Wants to be Kobe -- on one end of the floor. Doesnt' really defend much. Fades away on every shot whether he needs to or not. Nice shooter though.

PG -- 6'4" Javaris Crittenton. Y'all know him too. Can't shoot a lick, but drives into traffic and dishes pretty well, rebounds well for his position. Quick.

So our back-ups have good size and potential for the position, but our twener starters actually know what they're doing out there. On the plus side, at some point we get back our best offensive player (Gilbert) and best defender (Center the underrated Brendan Haywood) and a high lotto pick. So that's all good. Losses are fine so long as we collect ping pong balls.

Be prepared to see a ton of undersized veteran PF Darius Songaila on Andrew Bynum. That's a favorite way to fall behind right now.

You're overestimating the Lakers WAY too much. You haven't seen us on a consistent basis have you? We're very beatable, man.

Feed the post early and often.

Nice GT Cash Money. Im very intersted to see if Bynum can put together back to back games. He doesnt have to put up 42/15 but 20/10 would be nice tonight.

Lakers win tonight and we are in 1st place. And imo we still havent played great basketball. Spacing still isnt proper between Gasol and Bynum.

its probably mostly due to a bad matchup with jamison, but its interesting that gasol is the first one to the bench and bynum is still in there. he's playing great. 8 and 6 already.

Looks like Phil is going to leave whoever is playing better at the time between Gasol and Bynum in the first quarter. Which I like.

I think that's exactly it. I expect to see Odom get a few more minutes than normal tonight. Jamison is just a bad defensive matchup for Pau. Even so, he needs to start playing with some intensity. I think he's directly responsible for about 17 or their 24 points so far.
