Game Preview
The Spurs pulled an amazing up set of the Lakers 11 days ago when Roger Mason hit a off balance jumper from 18 feet after being fouled on the play by Derek Fisher. Fisher made an attempt to steal the inbound pass but put himself out of position, this came right after Kobe Bryant made a 3 pointer over Mason with 12 seconds to play.

Both teams come in on winning streaks setting up this once again epic battle between two titans of the Western Conference. The Lakers have won 3 in a row and the Spurs 4. The Lakers lead the Spurs for the best record in the conference by 5 games.

Thanks worthy, time to put the Spurs on notice. Gotta pound the ball inside relentlessly against the Spurs. So many people in the media think the Spurs can still beat the Lakers, but I don't see it they lack depth and legit size. Don't give me that crap about 6'9" guys can guard 7 footers.

I just told Cav fans about this on Monday and they refuted the notion, they thought it could be done until the Lakers slap that 15 point on them.

Nice thread Deep3!

Should be very interesting to see Bynum's performance tomorrow. This game against Timmy would prove whether the recent stretch is just a hot streak or a break out performance time. Overall a must win game for us to be beating those guys on our floor.

Its an unusually early kick off for a home game though.

Man you dont have to tell me twice. Im amazed at some of the stories that come out of the media. Last week on BSPN radio they were saying that Bynum should be the go to guy instead of Kobe....I laughed my *** off. I truely think they just say stuff to get your attention. Spurs are not good enough to beat the lakers. But we will just have to settle this in the playoffs.

First one of the year for the squad, but these games use to be the norm back in the 80's when me and my pops use to go to the Forum. Those 80's guys didn't club all night so the quality of play was much better, but these guys today are making it "rain" til 2 or 3 am lol !

with bynum's emerging one on one offense, i really hope the spurs aren't allowed to keep bonner out there without paying a huge price in the paint.
