Your All Star Reserves?

Well, with the starting lineups set, who do you think deserves the 7 other spots on each All Star team? Does Andrew Bynum make it in the East, as Jeff Van Gundy would like to think?

Eastern Conference Starters

PG- Allen Iverson (Detroit Pistons)
SG- Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat)
SF- LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers)
PF- Kevin Garnett (Boston Celtics)
C- Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic)

Reserves

G- Joe Johnson (Atlanta Hawks)
G- Devin Harris (New Jersey Nets)
G- Jameer Nelson (Orlando Magic)

F- Danny Granger (Indiana Pacers)
F- Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics)
F- Rashard Lewis (Orlando Magic)

C- Chris Bosh (Toronto Raptors)

Western Conference Starters

PG- Chris Paul (New Orleans Hornets)
SG- Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers)
SF- Amare Stoudemire (Phoenix Suns)
PF- Tim Duncan (San Antonio Spurs)
C- Yao Ming (Houston Rockets)

Reserves

G- Brandon Roy (Portland Trailblazers)
G- Chauncey Billups (Denver Nuggets)

F- Pau Gasol (Los Angeles Lakers)
F- Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks)
F- Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder)

C- Shaquille O'Neal (Phoenix Suns)
C- Al Jefferson (Minnesota Timberwolves)

I would LOVE to have Carmelo in over Durant, but he's been hurt the last month and that's a big factor. Nene has been more consistent than Andrew this year, which gets him in.

Chris Paul
Kobe Bryant
Amare Stoudemire
Tim Duncan
Yao Ming
Chauncey Billups
Brandon Roy
Dirk Nowitzki
Pau Gasol
Shaquille O'Neal
Tony Parker
Deron Williams or Carmelo Anthony

Tough choice both have had injury plagued seasons and arent producing like we're used to. Denver has probably been the biggest surprise in the West but Utah is playing well without Boozer... I wanna give it to Deron since he was snubbed last year, but I wont be upset if either gets it

Allen Iverson
Dwyane Wade
LeBron James
Kevin Garnett
Dwight Howard
Devin Harris
Joe Johnson
Danny Granger
Rashard Lewis
Chris Bosh
Paul Pierce
Vince Carter

Zydrunas probably would have made it but he's missed too many games. Rondo and Mo WIlliams while playing well are not All Star level... Leaving off Nelson is tough, but 1) Vince Carter is better than him, 2) Lewis is having just as good a season and 3) The Magic dont deserve 3 All stars when the Cavs have 1 and the Celtics/Lakers have 2

People Bynum will be an all-star, PJax is the coach, why do you think the LAL are featuring him so prominently, you think that's a coincidence?

What don't you understand Phil?

OP: I really don't understand why people like Melo so much, he doesn't play a lick of D, he turns the ball over like it's a hot potato, and he shoots from the three line too much and he's lazy.

i don't think bynum will make the all-star team, and i don't think Phil try and get him in

and bynum will use that as motivation and have a great second half of the year

well..

a) Phil being a coach has nothing to do with Bynum being an All-Star
b) Bynum playing well is something the Lakers have wanted him to do all season, so the Lakers can be a better team, not to angle for the ASG.

Phil can't even vote for him anyways. Not allowed to vote for your own players.

It is the coaches vote. They will all vote and those who have the most votes gets the call. However, you cant vote for your own player.

By the way, I'm changing my reserve pick from Nene to Al Jefferson. I don't know what I was smoking leaving him off the team. You can make the case that his team is bad, but they're 9-2 in January and he's a beast down low.
