I realize that Bynum got injured last night and we are all sad and concerned about his health and wish him well and quick recovery.
And Im freaking bummed about this.
Im in Veags right now and I really could careless about the Superbowl at this point and time.

But one thing that I can say is lets bring some postive good vibe to this board and lets hope for the best.
As a Laker fan we have been through a lot of issues and problems whatever it maybe, Magic, Shaq leaving, Kobes trade demands, L.O son, Bynums injury last year.... etc.

So with that being said,

WE NEED A POSTIVE THREAD.........

Post something positve or a wish or anything you want to share that brings a good Vibe and Energy.

I'm not as concerned about AB17, I heard him interviewed after the injury and he sounded positive himself. He was able to get his leg free before real damage could have occured, and it was on his healthy knee. He's strong, young, and healthy.

I'm also excited about the challenge and the opportunity for the LAL to take down the C's without Bynum, that'd really show the league and the C's something.

Something positive? I'm really excited for the ASG now that Diesel is a part of it. I, truly as bitter and crass as some of his comments were , gave him a pass, because I really don't think that is truly how he feels about the Lakers organization or KB24. It was more bruised ego's and sensitive feelings, then it was hateful comments. I always felt it would end patched up and healthy once again. Ending with Buss, Jerry, Phil, Mitch smiling as Diesel's jersey gets lifted to the rafters.

The reason LA is one of the league's elite teams is that they're deep enough to not crumble when an injury arises. This is why they win a lot of games. Pau is having a bad shooting night? They can put Odom in and not suffer. Derek Fisher is hurt? They can put in Farmar and still run an efficient offense. Kobe has yet another injury? That Vujacic kid isn't bad at all.

Point being, LA is tough. They did excellent last season without Bynum. This injury doesn't scare me in the least.

Yeah, I was sort of relieved a little bit by what Bynum was saying last night. He didn't hear or feel anything (besides pain). It likely isn't as serious as last year. Also, now he knows how to rehab an injury in the NBA. That can only help.

Something positive.....we won our first 2 games on this road trip.

Props to T-Money for being a trooper and start this off. We all want to Lakers to do well that's why even on nights when we win we still have our nit picking fest with each other, but it's all in the love for our team. We expect more some times then they can actually give. We have a lot of smart I mean really smart basketball guys here which always makes our board the funniest here without a doubt.

I scan a lot of the other boards and truth be told it ain't like ours or the Celtics for that matter. Yeah we rant and rave, b*tch and moan but some time that's the fun of it even if Phil_2.0 has to put a lock on it or slap the hand like you do your little one some time. But you know what we get to do it again the next day and have fun again.

Last night brought a scare again, emptiness , anger, frustration and fear. Fear that all that was going good seem to quickly turn bad. We can almost taste what we want I don't have to say it you know what it is, we want it bad for a number of reasons like validation and vindication the right to puff our chests again. We're immune to it here it's all we grew up knowing about the Lakers it's in our blood.

Don't get frustrated with outside posters talking s__t, let'em don't respond let it ride and you be the bigger more mature person and exude the class that we know we have here. We have the best MODS on this forum period, let them do the dirty work and all we gotta do is sit back and laugh at the fools they eradicate..............that's where you have to get your satisfaction.

I'm going to go old school here real old school. The older cats here remember Speed Racer the cartoon from back in the day, well anyway Racer X and Speed were brothers. But when Pops built the Mach 5 for Speed to drive Racer X was hurt, because he felt he had trained all that time with Pops to drive the Mach 5. Naturally X was hurt and left home never to return again, but he never stop loving Speed and he always looked out for Speed when ever he got into trouble. Why ? because he was big brother...............same with Shaq and Kobe. Believe it if want to or not but like I said and always knew............Shaq was going to make his way back home. Keep on thinking he won't be back but he will watch.

watching the super bowl was a positive for me, didn't really care for either team but as a football fan it was just great

^^^That was a really good superbowl. The first 3 quarters were decent football (though the interception return was exciting). Then it became great in the 4th.

Lakers have Ariza, Celtics depth on the bench retired and plays w/ the Hornets now.

Great players wanting to chase rings like T-MAC and SHAQ want to come to LA at the end of their career. Championship teams get dirt cheap talent boost. That and that should only make the Lakers better in the years to come. I can't wait to see the NBA greats come to LA and except roles backing up the Lakers we have and love.

Talent wise the Lakers could trade for any player in the league (LeBron) and keep Kobe. No other NBA team can say that. That shows you how deep this team is.
