I guess he had a tough time off the court over their with the culture. He was averaging 34 ppg, so you would think he is at least in shape. I think a player like him with his ability to get his own shot would make a big difference.

A big plus that is over looked is the impact he had on a team like New Orleans. With out him they are struggling to fill the void that he gave them at the 2 guard position.

Dumping Vlad or Luke and just adding Bonzi would make this team a lot better. Not to mention Bonzi adds the toughness factor of giving hard fouls and not playing nice out their.

What a moron.

China is an awesome place to live/visit, particularly if you're a westerner with some money to spend. He couldn't even make it through a season without getting home sick?

A season? He barely made it through a month! This guy was rumored to be the worst teammate imaginable. He doesn't pass the ball to anyone; he never even goes to training sessions; he complaints all day everyday about literally everything; and he openly says his teammates suck. He was killing other teams on the court but the team had to let him go because he is such an a-hole.

Chinese baketball is different. There are no personal glories to be had there. If you get 30PPG it is a cause of team concern and a long team meeting. Basketball for them is to each that all can equally contribute to the success of the community, not be the hero that stands out.
