LO's Greatest Laker Moment....

Post#1 » by JimMurray » Fri Feb 6, 2009 11:48 pm

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, and if it has feel free to lock or delete this...but I had to say it....

Who else thinks that LO punking Garnett with an ass slap was unequivocally his greatest moment as a Laker.....LOL!

Absolute comedy. I didn't see the ass slap until I watched it back on DVR, but I was rolling after I saw that. Brilliant!!

K.G shouldve just laughed it off and took L.O slap as a friendly gesture of "Hey lets just BALL" but K.G yet again tried to play the tough guy woof wossy game on Lamar as he does other smaller and weaker players, but Lamar isnt one that backs down.
Im glad he did that cause all it did was fire up Lamar and we all witnessed what happened after that.
Lamar went of a rampage with his rebounds and scoring.
So props to K.G for his actions I hope he does that all the time.

lamar has been one of the lakers' never back down / deliver a hard foul play players since he got here. whether its pushing kg out of the key to the floor like last game, tackling ray allen, or putting a portland player on the floor, lamar is there to get it done.

Lamar is the man. I always rooted for him, even when he was a Clipper.

I think his best Laker moment was accepting his role as the sixth man.

Its right now...

he sealed up the Celtics V after holding his own against Garnett then kills the Cavs to spoil their home winning streak. Lakers clinch tie-breakers against the other top 2 teams in the league. LO is being called THE GOODS on every TV network nation wide (its been a long time since we have been hearing that)...

Phoenix might be willing to send the Lakers Amare for Odom at this point. Friday & Sunday = best of LOS career!

LO's had a few notable performances in the playoffs, against the Suns he was fairly beastly. He was pretty clutch on the road against Utah last year in the playoffs IIRC. He had some monster games when Kobe was out in the start of the 06-07 season, I think he was averaging like 25/13 or something IIRC.

These past two games are absolutely awesome though, on the road back to back against Boston and Cleveland, Odom was undoubtebly our X-factor, and played spectacular. Greatest Laker moment? I don't know...I'd like to think that it hasn't happened yet, I hope that will come in route to a championship this season in the playoffs.
