I dont think we need a Vald appreciation thread cause he never did diddle for this team other than get hurt snowboarding and help us lose to the Cs in the finals.
I have never been pleased with what he brought to this team and I cant say Im going to miss him.
So with that being said...........
Heres a GOOD BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE FOR YOU VLAD.............

Thank God that Fool is gone. I would've been happy even if we traded him for a few basketball racks!
His Basketball IQ is horrible. At least Luke showed why he gets burn over Vlad.....

I am so glad he is gone. Had Ariza been healthy and played over him in the finals I am positive the results would not have been what they were. Vlad showed no heart and cared only about his offense. If he wasn't knocking down his shots, he was completely useless.

I'm glad he's gone too. He would hit some nice threes, but the guy he would be guarding would have a field day on offense. When he wouldnt be hitting threes, his guy would be feasting on offense.

i just miss that in 2k8 (last years 2k) you could do a quick release with him that went in 90 percent of the time. But in 2k9 they fixed so oh well... that was fun. and his nickname space cadet was classic. I think i'm going to cry... ::runs off::

Haha. Larry Brown thought Ariza was a lost kid? I wonder what he'll think of Space Cadet.

nice move for LA.
next question, who earns the backup pg minutes? Brown or Farmar?

I think Phil might use Brown more as a S.G than a P.G.
But I guess time will tell.

Vladimir's final sequence with the Lakers is a suitable epitaph for his entire tenure:
Turnover
Loaf back and give up a 3 on defense
Turnover
Bench
Good bye you lazy, hair-brained, lackadaisical, money-grubbing thief.

conspiracy alert- remember when Phil pull him out of the starting lineup for no reason and said that it was for internal reasons and was not going to talk about it.
was it because Mitch told Phil to get used to not playing Vlad because he was shopping him or did Vlad do something to tick Phil off?

he didn't deserve it, he was balling and is our best three point shooter. It will haunt us.

I gotta admit I was a believer in Vlad, thought he could work out but this season proved Vlad was only for Vlad. Now if Adam can find his stroke we'll be OK.
