Can LO + Bynum Beast At the Same Time?

LO has been BEASTING.

Bynum was definitely BEASTING before he got hurt.

Could the the 2 Lakers both beast at the same time. It seems the basketball Gods haven't allowed it YET. Could you imagine LO or Bynum coming off the bench and playing like a true all-star. Can you imagine LO playing the way he did in Feb or Bynum playing the way he did in Jan against another teams bench?!? LO could have 20 / 20 as a 6th man or Bynum could have 25 / 10 / 5 / 4 as a 6th man.

I hope Bynum gets his swagger back in the play-offs and LO keeps the switch in the on position!

We don't need them to. Odom needs to beast with Bynum out, but with the second unit Odom needs to be the glue guy. Making sure the second unit runs smoothly and facilitating and helping guys like Farmar/Ariza play to their strengths.

This is where Odom's TRUE value is.

eh hem.. sure they can, in fact we promote it. This is the LO we've be wanting to break out this whole time. Now if he maintains that mentality into the finals.. that would be super!

its hard to come in off the bench and "beast it up." no matter what odom says about liking coming off the bench, he would much rather start. i say try this lineup of Bynum, Gasol, Odom on the court at the same time and see what happens.

I'm very glad we haven't messed with that front court rotation by making a hasty trade. LO is priceless when faced up against the likes of David West/Nowitzki/Miller mold who'd kill you with mid range jump shots. Its very tough to find that kind of versatility in the NBA anymore.

techinically they both can BEAST

but both their total BEASTING capability together will be less than their individual BEASTING capabilities combined

because bynum and odom both BEAST in pretty much the same way the majority of the time, with BEASTLY rebounds and BEASTLY dunks/layups

that said, gasol is easily a better BEASTING partner to either bynum or odom

NO they both wont "BEAST" at the same time because the ball simply doesnt have that much time to go around lamar, bynum, gasol, and kobe....
2 of these 4 players will take turns BEASTING during games.

Don't agree at all. The ball doesn't need to go "around" that much. Lamar's beasting is mostly with rebounding. His scoring is just icing on the cake. Even when Bynum was there Lamar by far the best player coming off the bench. he wont be getting 16 & 18 because it takes starter minutes to get that but 12 & 10 off the bench on a nightly basis is more than getting the job done! Lamar is in attack mode right now & feels like no one can stop him.

Also he showed maturity in the G.S. game that I haven't seen in him his entire career. The refs wouldn't give him a break & he didn't totally lose his focus. He got pissed like anyone else would have, regained his composure & got the job done!!

I've never seen LO, Bynum, Kobe and Pau beast it up but I sure can imagine it.

It would almost be like a video game on easy and everyone would have about 20 points and some crazy defensive stats.

In Jan when LO was getting 30 mins off the bench (the other 3 were beastin) he could come out with the same energy this team could be the greatest of all time. I can't wait to see energy like that off the bench. Manu style.

How can you beast without the numbers?

Can 3 players avg 10 reb's a game? (LO, Bynum, Gasol)

Doubt it

Can LO, Bynum, Gasol each avg 12 ppg?

Doubt it with Kobe on the team and Sasha, Jordan, Fish, Ariza needing shots

I wonder if Bynum should come off the bench at the end of the season/playoff's so the Lakers continuity isn't broken up. They are playing pretty well right now, the only thing they miss is a space eating/shot blocker. Oh yeah Bynum.

This team is going to be good for a long time if they can stay healthy/signed. But only 2-3 max can beast at any one time. Kobe has spot already locked up, Pau just about has the other one locked up. It's a tossup from game to game who gets to beast.......

im all for trying to create mismatches through the rotation

but it generally makes it harder for players to try to readapt and may end up damaging us more than it would damage them
