The Lakers

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Sat Mar 14, 2009 12:44 am

WOW Andrew Katz from Dime Mag seriously has his head pretty far up his arse most of the time when he writes about Kobe and the Lakers but this time, I guess he decided to come at us pretty strong.
Never liked this guys articles and now I know why.
I mean dont get me wrong, he does have a few good points, but dam we were playing the Spurs. RIGHT?
http://dimemag.com/2009/03/the-lakers-p ... was-right/

Watching the first half of Lakers/Spurs last night made Tex Winters‘ comments look idiotic. L.A. started the game 10-11 from the field, getting buckets from everyone on the floor. The Lakers built an 18-point lead by the end of the first quarter, and maintained that double-digit spread deep into the third quarter.

But as San Antonio scrapped back into it, Winters’ assertions that the Lakers have serious flaws (I think that’s what he means by “warts”) and that they’re “not playing as good as our record indicates” looked like the truth.

Way to go linking us then, man.

I guarantee Dime doesn't give a **** what this guy writes...the fact that we're all reading it only keeps him employed. That's why biased journalism exists, it either pleases people so they read it, or it pisses them off so they read it.

If you really want to get rid of hack writers like Katz, you boycott their stuff.

right now we are the frontrunners for the title, and some people just like talking out of their arse. as long as we continue to improve,we shold be fine, and hoisting what is rightfully ours in june.
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

so the dude made a connection between tex winter's comments and the lakers letting the spurs get back to within 2 points

whats the big deal? thats been the lakers problem all season, letting big leads slip, at least we've been winning those games anyway

dont be so sensitive

they can say whatever **** they want, we'll be the ones letting leads slip and still winning in June

Derek Fisher stuck a 24-foot jumper in Parker’s grill - a classic example of Fisher jacking, and one of those shots that everyone on the bench says “Nooo!” when he pulls, and “Yes!” when it goes in.

WHO CARES?

I hope EVERY SPORTS WRITER counts the Lakers out

It worked for Detroit in 2004, it worked for Boston in 2008

The Lakers NEED to feel like UNDERDOGS
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
