Making the Crab Dribble - OK?

What do you guys think? I've learned it the old school way all my life.. i wouldn't want to change it.. although, allowing it would open up a whole new way of driving to the basket.
The NBA made a rule change for next season that will permit the 'crab dribble', which was made famous by LeBron James.
"We're working on it," Joe Borgia, NBA's vice president of referee operations, told the ESPN.com blog Truehoop recently.
"Our traveling rule we've been discussing for a couple of years," he said. "The game has evolved. I don't think the rule has evolved since the time of Bob Cousy. But we're also going to probably share it with the NCAA and maybe FIBA, because it would be nice if we could all come up with a similar rule. A similar rule would be great for the players, the coaches, and the officials."

Traveling is traveling.
Hey lebron, LEARN to bounce the ball and leave us alone!

We might as well just get rid of the rule traveling.

I say they should allow it.. dribbling is stupid anyways. If football players can do it, why not basketball players??

It's horrible. Lebron's crab dribble is 4 steps. Now if they make it legal what will they push? Right now it's 1 or 2 but they let you get away with more sometimes. What if they let you get away with more with this?
If there going for excitment just take away the zone, not that teams use it alot anyway.

yeah.. if allowed.. we'll be seeing 1 dribble from the arc and that's it. lol jk
mightest well allow And1 to play in the nba then.. they can probably work wonders with the crab dribble.

Lame, takes away from Kobe honestly who has some of the best footwork in the game. Learn to jump of the wrong foot if you need to and learn to set up your power moves better imo. Same thing with Wade on his spin move, he takes an extra step almost every time. There is a little bit of a fine line that I'm ok with like the 1 step to jump stop that Pippen made famous and that little half step when you pick up the ball in midair and take two more that most people get away with I'm ok with. But the crab dribble, uber spin, and a few post moves that are downright illegal that need to be taken away.
