nice read...especially the part about kobe being able to run away with the scoring title if he wanted to.
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

it's true. if kobe wanted to put up big numbers he could.

but he doesn't have to. it doesn't benefit our team.

Kobe got his 1 MVP...he doesn't need another one. Heck even Shaq only has 1 MVP.

RINGS are all that matter for your legacy. Kobe understands that.

Seeing Luke play is torture enough..............I'm staying as far away from Luke as I can. Game nights are enough.

shaq having only one is really a travesty. you make an excellent point about rings being the only thing that matters.

Yeah, he doesn't need another MVP, particularly when you consider that no perimeter player since Jordan has won the award and gone on to win a championship.

So... congrats on your first MVP award LeBron! ;)

But so very, very true. Like Jordan's turnaround and the Dream Shake, Luke is starting to develop his own patented move -- he Fs up, hangs his head for a second, then sprints back on defense.

I think Luke plays high most of the time, or his dad must've hit the peace pipe way too much when he had Luke, cause he doesnt seem like he's all up there sometimes.

luke makes his mistakes just as other do,but to be honest,i enjoy watching luke play. he seems to make alot of good decision with his passing. he also seems like a great locker room guy...

It's nothing personal. I agree that he seems like a decent enough guy. But as one floor-bound white guy talking about another, I can't think of a single thing I like about his game. When your most noticeable skill is being a good entry passer, you're a pretty limited player.

Lets put it this way, BILL WALTON HAS TO BE THE BIGGEST IDIOT THAT EVER CAME OUT OF THE NBA.
When ever he calls games I dont care whos playing, I change the channel.
His voice is freaking annoying as hell, all he does is put down every player he ever addresses, at times when he talks he wonders off into another subject.
He use to do Mission Viejo Infinitys commercials and I think they drop him cause their sales actually took a dump after he took over..................
Overall I know he's an NBA player, but all I know is if I was 6 to 7 inches taller, I could out ball his handicap ass. Actually him and his dad.
Resinging Luke was a mistake and I cant wait to see him and Sasha leave this team.
After these two guys are gone I think this team will be set.

He needs to grow something else and we as men are all born with one or two, I think Lukes on the other hand, he had a problem since only one of them fell and the other one didnt.

Couldn't disagree more. Bill Walton is hilarious, man. He's being sarcastic the entire game, making fun of ****. I miss him as the Clipps' announcer.

Lol, Bill Walton had one hilarious commentary I remember hearing, but could never find it. There's even a website with Bill Walton quotes but it doesn't have it. it went something like:

Bill: "and the lakers continue to crash the offensive boards as the waves crash the shores of Santa Monica against the sunset, lapping over and over against the beach, non-stop in all it's beauty"
Announcer: "wow, I don't know what to say, that's quite an analogy Bill"

it went somethign like that. I wish I could find it.
