Chuck was wrong........again. " I just feel the Jazz are going to win the game" And he gets paid for these comments. When was the last time he made sense about anything ?

65-17...3rd best record in franchise history.
Huge accomplishment, especially considering the starting center was out 30+ games.

Here's to a great playoff run. 16 More.

And finally, after six long months, the playoffs are here. Let the real games begin.

It is pretty sad if you actually do. Just as unfair as it will be to see Cavs fans tormenting PIstons fans.

This is your year Lakers, don't waste it. I prefer the Lakers over Celtics or Cavs, and I mean that big time.

Charles is the perfect example of an ex player who NEVER won a title and clearly is bitter about it. How can anybody take what he says seriously when he only played in one NBA Final.........and lost.

Go away Chuck....just leave cause you suck.

Comment was all in fun Duiz, seriously the Jazz will be a tough out. This won't be a cake walk as many tend to think. We need every tough series we can get for mental purposes.

This is not meant to ignite any flame wars, or such.

Go look at the Utah board. Utah ON THE ROAD shot 47 free throws to our 24.

All of the people on their board are bitching about the referees as the reason they lost. I thought about making a comment, but I don't think I even know what to say to that.

Hope you all enjoy if you take a look.

To Our Mods: I truly don't want this to start a flame war, and my evidence is I made no comment on their board

Last year I definitely would have said that we would at least tough you up, which we did. This year it should be equally as sad as watching the Lakers vs. Nuggets series of 2008. Our season is over. You should be worried about the Spurs in the 2nd round though.

I saw that too laka4life, that's a difference of 23 and they still lost. They lost because they lack the size and depth on the frontline. They don't rebound well and they have too many some timey guys, at least for us it's just LO but they have way too many. One is a starter and the others are their bench guys.

LOL Duiz seriously man you do realize we're in the Spurs head and have been for years. Just like you guys own the Rockets it's the same for us with the Spurs...........they fear us. But your right we'll worry about it......when we get to it.

I actually do not believe there will be a series that will come close to the 2008 Nuggets series. Despite you guys being the #8 seed, I fully expect your team to duplicate last years effort if not better. I don't see this series ending in less than 6 games, hopefully it won't come down to a 7th game. Utah is an extremely tough place to win at and your fans are arguably the loudest in the league if not the loudest. Remmeber you guys almost won 2 games in LA last year, 2 of the 3 games we won at home came down to the final minute.

I doubt the Spurs will be our opponent, we are more worried about playing the up and coming Portland team in the 2nd round. They are 2 years away from being legit but there is always a possibility of them arriving 2 years early.

True minny, but this is a different Laker team. Last year we depended on Jordan to check D-Will after Fish and Kobe, now we have Fish, Shannon, Kobe, Sasha then Jordan. I expect him to wear down and fatigue by the middle of the series.

If we control the board effectively every game we take the series in no less than 5.

Oh yeah and Phil should have DJ on the playoff roster, I'll be pissed if he isn't. We need every big in arsenal just in case.........know what I'm saying. We don't need Ammo, that's not a diss but reality.

It's kind of bad when your coach is just about throwing in the towel.

"We didn’t give them much of a battle and knowing that we’re going to have to play them again, it looks pretty bleak,” Utah coach Jerry Sloan said. “Hate to say that, but it’s one of those things.”

The Lakers improved to 16-3 all-time against Utah at Staples Center, winning the last six in a row against the Jazz at home.

“There’s a whole new season starting. Everybody’s healthy, so we’ll get everybody on the same page and see what it’s all about,” Sloan said. “We’re just like a little dent in the road as far as they’re concerned. They’re very comfortable playing against us, and obviously they should be.”
