the great philosopher jagger once said, "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you get what you need"
so i'll take whoever wins, i think we can beat them both

i prefer rockets. This whole season, we've played better against the Rockets then we did against the Blazers. Plus the Blazers matchup against us too well.
Blazers don't have Ron Artest.. We need Artest to trash talk kobe so kobe can run him over again and again.. hehe jk.

Either, we're due in Portland and their youth is showing in the playoffs. They have no true low post game and it basically makes them an inconsistent jump shooting team. I think Kobe would love the challenge of BRoy and some more Bynum Oden goodness would be fun to watch. People forget how easily we beat them at home and I think in a playoff series with us locked in it would be a similar result as the Jazz, they win one home game we take the series in 5.
We match up well with the Rockets. Portland's bigs are slower and don't have a good way of attacking Yao and Aldridge isn't taking as much advantage of the smaller Scola and Landry as he should be. Pau abuses Yao on the offensive end so it negates Yao's post up mostly and Bynum does pretty well against him also. We he is out there Pau is way too big for Scola and Lamar matches up well with him and Landry also. Brooks is a little too inexperienced and so small when we funnel him to the lane he doesn't cause nearly as much problems as a guy like D Will. The only thing that sucks about playing them is it will be hard on Kobe. He has figured out Ron and Shane's D pretty well and has gotten into an nice groove against them but it would still be a long physical battle against those two guys and I'd rather avoid it if possible.
Don't matter though, I'm pretty confident we'll beat either in 5.

We can beat the Rockets in Houston but Rose Garden is an entirely different issue. Rockets please.
