the news in the morning said something about "inside sources" say that kobe is the 09 mvp........anyone else catch this?

huh really? I wouldn't have voted for him with the Lebron show this year. If he does win I smell a troll invasion of haters. Great.

wouldn't mind if he got it,but it was lebron's from the opening tip. he didn't have to win it,he had to ose it,and judging by the media lovefest he hasn't lost it...

He's put up amazing numbers on the #1 team in the league and that's his MVP. Love him or hate him he's been the best player in the league.

well he's been the best player in your opnion not mines. i don't hate lebron but anyone denying that the award was handed to him at the start of the season is lying to him or herself. i'm not going to argue about it,i just stated my opinion.

I'm not a LeBron fan by any stretch and it's plain as day that the media is on his jock to the point that it's embarrassing. That said, he put up ridiculous numbers all year and his team finished with the league's top record. He probably would've gotten it even if he hadn't been this good, but there's no denying that he earned MVP 100% this year. Only thing Kobe has on him in that regard is we went 2-0 against the Cavs and gave them their only legit home loss (without Bynum).

Wow. I would have voted for Lebron too. I don't even think that it's fair that Kobe gets it.

you are right he did earn it. i have no problem with him getting it. i just feel like it was given to him from the opening tip. jmo...
