OT - Former Laker Briang Grant diagnosed w/ Parkinson's

Horrible news...ex-Laker (among others) Brian Grant was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (same disease as Muhummad Ali and Michael J. Fox). I just wanted to get this out there and say my thoughts are with Brian and his family. He was a great player and I'm sure he'll battle this disease with the same toughness he became so well known for in the NBA. He was always one of my favorites and I was dissapointed that the Lakers picked him up so late in his career, he was the epitome of an efficient role player big man.

My prayers go out to you and your family. I always liked him as a player and he was solid man off the court as well.

I used to be pretty hard on him when his contract crippled us in financial hell but he was a very professional guy and a good player in his prime. I hope and pray that there are better days ahead for him.

Mabey that he why he sucked so bad when the Lakers got him from the Heat, Riley owes us a refund...
Oh, yeah very sad news, I loved the guys play when he was with Portland, awesome rebounder for his size and tough as nails...
