Karl: Jesus Couldn't Cover Kobe

ENOUGH SAID..................

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... over_kobe/

Nuggets coach George Karl doesn't think that anyone could have covered Kobe Bryant during stretches of Friday night's Game 6.

"No. 24 had a great five minutes at the end of the (first half) that no one in basketball could have covered him," Karl told the Denver Post.

"He made about four shots in that stretch that I think Jesus would have had trouble covering. And those took the game from a manageable game to 13 (points)."

I've been waiting for one of these ridiculously awesome quotes from the opposing players and coaches re: Kobe and finally one arrived.

At least he left the refs alone.

The other ridicules quote came from KMart saying he still believes the Nuggs are the better team: Dude you lost by 27 at home. Your second loss at home in one series. Get a grip.

That's why the Nuggs may never be in the class of the elite IMO in that some of their players don't respect their opponents. KMart should look at himself and see what he needs to do to improve for next year.

LOL. Karl is hallucinating now. It must be his last game as a coach.
