Andrew Bynum has to give us big productive minutes in this series in order for us to bring home this title. Even tough he played very well both times in the regular season, this is the real deal! No stupid fouls & don't use your fouls bailing out the guards. Dwight can't push Drew around like he does most of the other Center's & with limited post moves Andrew is the perfect defender for him. Also Bynum will make Howard play defense & get fouls as well. Go get him Drew!!!!!

Pau Gasol has to make Rashard Lewis play defense as well & on our defensive end don't let Lewis roam outside that 3 point line & get uncontested 3's! Gasol is definitely 1 of the best players in the world when he shows up. Keep demanding the ball Pau & keep the offense running through you & the offense will continue to flow smooth.

Coaching. Phil made great adjustments the last 2 games of the series after acting as if adjustments were a thing of the past in his coaching style in the 1st 4 games. If he keeps making necessary adjustments this is a series that we could win handily. Phil don't be scared to play DJ Mbenga. He could end up being an unsung hero in this series. He could give us quality minutes & 6 fouls that would come out of nowhere. The same goes for Josh Powell. Dwight Howard will push Pau all over the court & ruin his confidence. Lamar is 1st off the bench but DJ needs to play. Also that front court of Bynum, Gasol, & Odom needs to be seen for stretches in this series.They have no answer for Kobe. So let the Black Mamba make it do what it do!!!!!!

I'm excited and confident about the Lakers going in. I worry more about Orlando knocking down ridiculous amounts of 3's more than I do about Howard Vs. Bynum/Gasol.

The Lakers over help on defense WAYYY too much, especially fisher, which leads to poor defense against the 3, I hope they can correct that. Also, I don't want to see Kobe roaming a lot this series since pretty much everyone except Dwight and Gortat are a threat from 3.

If Bynum can defend Howard as Boston's Perkins did and We'll be fine against him. Howard is the main problem. I can't watch the game live but I'm still be watching it after. I just wanted the Lakers to win four. Let's go and get this party started.

We need Kobe to attract doubles and dish it to Ariza for three and a cutting Odom like game 6 verse Denver.

Defensively we need to man up on everyone. Including Kobe. Dwight gets a lot of hustle points and put back type of points. He is no Duncan or Gasol in terms of post up. If we just man up and control the boards while not allowing Dwight to get close to rim to often. Then we will be fine.

Excited to be the first Magic fan to post in here. This is for sure having your cake and eating it too for us. We have been very happy just by beating the Celts, never the less beating the way over rated Cavs. Now you guys are a different story. Here is how our confidence has been through these series. Against Philly we were confident though they were a handful and we had to work 100 times harder than we every imagined. Boston, Oh boy 7 games says it all. Cavs, believe it or not I was more confident in beating them than I was with philly. And here we are in the FINALS, its like being in the price is right show, things keep on getting better and better and our ultimate prize is showing up against the legendary Lakers. Now here is my thoughts on this series. We can never go against the history of the lakers and we will not beat you guys in a 7 game series. Although, we are 2-0 in the regular season, this is way different. I believe Kobe is 10 times better than Lebron, and that is due to his intelligence and experience. I will also not say that you will stream roll over us because these Magic players are fighters to the last second regardless of the scoreboard. I promise a much more exciting series that what the Cavs would have offered you. 4-0 sweep would be very possible had you played the Cavs, but I do think we will take you to the last second of the 6th or 7th game.

I will occasionally check this game thread and talk about the game, no bashing or talking big, just having fun and enjoying the history we are building together. I am so excited I can hardly wait till thursday.

Good to see a classy poster This should be an excellent series & I agree with everything you said about the Cavs. Honestly though I don't know if I can take a 6th or 7th game. Just for the sake of my health I hope we can finish the job faster!
