I'm only bringing this topic up cause we're just so close to getting it, and there's just no way to stop them from getting it. There's no way the magics can win 4 straight games in my opinion.

I remember the good ole riot days but then again it cost the city a lot of money. Lucky Shaq was kind enough to pay for the destroyed FiveO cars. I remember getting hired on that same street the year after and they gave me an extra $1k because of the risk of working on that street LOL.

I wonder if anyone has pics of the LA riots of yester-years.

I could definately see some trashcans being thrown around and lit on fire but I don't think we will see cop cars flipped or anything like that. If the Lakers win, I plan to be there to see it all first hand, whatever happens. For the parade that is. I think the riot was right after the final game.

There will be a riot of some sorts. I see it escalating because of a fluke with LAPD; they will manage to do something wrong causing it to get out of control.

No, there was only a riot after the first championship of the 3 peat era because everyone was super pumped for winning and we hadn't won in a while. After the first one championship they got more cops and security and nothing happened.

LA Media is always trying to call everything a riot... And LA KnuckleHeads are always trying to start a riot...

There will be idiots throwing things no matter what happens... Some of them might have actually watched the finals... But it won't be a "RIOT."

I just got back from barcelona where the FCB team won the Euroleague and there were riots. 139 people arrested, cars tipped, people dancing on bus stops, 50,000 people in the streets lighting fireworks in crowds of people. it was insane.

I don't think we're like the soccer fans there, though I wish we were intensity-wise, but LA hasn't won anything in a while, maybe we're do a for a little fun.

It's only a prediction thus far.. but once it's true (if it's true) then there's no use for this thread at all hehe. But on a serious note, i didn't mean to offend anyone... just curious what people will think cuz we all know it's probably going to happen... hehe

no. the money wins. do folks know how much money has been invested in LA live, downtown, around staples etc... the big money will place tons of police to protect it.
