Will Traded players get rings

Post#1 » by laduane1 » Tue Jun 16, 2009 12:14 am

Chris Mihm and Vlad Rad get a championship ring. Just wondering if they were here long enough this year to get one.

The players vote on playoff shares I believe, but the rings, hmm.

Can Kobe kick Sasha's ass before they vote him a playoff share or a ring? He deserves a ring and a playoff share, but let Kobe kick his ass first, or he'll just have DJ Mbenga kick Sasha's ass for him, he's high level trained in a certain fighting skill.

...I can hear it now, and that's for game 1 when you took 4 off balance 20 footers, and that's for game 1 when you took 6 off balance 20 footers, and that's for getting schooled by old man Ray Allen in the finals last year that cost us a game.

When asked where he was going to put the MVP trophy, Kobe said something about in the office with the gold medal and the miniature trophies the players get?

Can anyone confirm if players get mini Larry O'Brien trophies? I always figured the rings were the individual "trophys".

Maybe, but I think they don't get rings.

i haven't heard of such a clause anywhere.. If this was the case, people wouldn't mind being traded period, if they were on a championship team

Yes CITY, he's right........no rings for Mihm or Vlad.

History lesson : Elgin Baylor a member at the start of the 71-72 season retired 9 games into the season. Right after his retirement the Lakers then ran off one of the greatest streak yet to be broken when they won 33 games in a row. They later went on to win the NBA title.

Did Elgin get a ring ?.........................NO, because he voluntarily gave up his spot on the roster.

Why did Elgin retire ? He was asked to take a lesser role on the team at age 37. Injuries played a factor also. He only played in 65 games the last 3 years of his career.
