I was reading a latimes article on their website about the Lakers draft it said the Lakers offered Farmar to Houston but they were turned down.

Yep!
Radmanovic & Shannon Brown were just the start of a recurring pattern.

I dont know what Brooks is like against the rest of the league, but if he is half as good as the Brooks in the playoffs I'll give up Farmar for him in a hot sec.

Why would Houston want to give you Artest though especially in a S&T they don't need to take back garbage contracts he's already expired.

farmar for aaron? the rockets wouldn't do it; not until they fully see how aaron plays at least till mid-season. I say shed adam and add in farmar for a descent pg that can run with the kids.

Houston's GM must not have caller ID seeing as he took a call from anyone affiliated with the Lakers after this season.

Where in the LA Times article does it say they offered Farmar? Am I blind, or did I only see it in the RGM wiretap?
I kind of trust LA Times, but our wiretap has used misleading headlines before.

I think Mitch is trying to get rid of the 29th pick for cash to save for Ariza and LO and offered Farmar as a throw-in as an incentive for the Rockets to buy it.

i see your point, but since we don't need the pick at all, i don't think its a bad sign.
If we needed the pick and were still doing anything we could to sell it, that would signal a "situation" to me.
IMO very smart to sell the pick to the Knicks, 3mm is a great price.
