OK so they are both under contract for 09/10.
What does that mean for 10/11, what happens in the 9/10 off-season with these two

Everybody else's contract is cut and dry, easy to follow.

I thought Ammo only had 1 more year on his deal!

We trimmed off one year on Vlade's old contract with that trade, it could have been worse.

we gotta ride it out or hope to trade morrison away to knock off his contract

Qualifying offer means if those players cannot agree to an extension by October(could be November, forgot) then the team can give him the qualifying offer, and after 2011 they become unrestricted agents. If a team is interested in them they can also have the player sign an offer sheet, and if the Lakers don't match that offer in 7 days then that player will go to a different team like Turiaf.

Next summer they can either (A) be resigned to a larger deal (B) accept the Qualifying Offer for one year and become an unrestricted FA the following summer (C) be signed to another team if the Lakers don't want to match an offer or (D) simply be released if they are unwanted by everyone (I think Sean May might experience this this off season).

Please correct me if I'm wrong (especially D).

That's the players choice or the teams choice?

^ team has to Make the offer first, then the player has to Accept it second.

the Lakers will D) Adam Morrison.

B) was what happened to Ben Gordon last season, he's an UFA now.
C) is the position ATL was in with Josh Smith, but they matched.
A) is what happened with Bynum.

adam is worst nothing to us on the bench... weeping.. That's a huge chunk that we can easily use for something else.. If we can't trade him... let him walk. The lakers should have let him play like one game so least the league knows he can still play hehe
