Amare Stoudemire-F/C-Suns

The L.A. Times is reporting that a post from a Twitter account belonging to @amareisreal stated "Amar'e Stoudemire to the Lakers!" on Friday.
The column points out that it did not come from a "verified account," like Shaquille O'Neal's, but that it did come from a "real account." Of course it did - an account would presumably have to be 'real' in order to post content. But it doesn't make sense why the story would be published without researching the actual identity of the source it came from. While we seriously doubt that Stoudemire is headed to the Lakers, or even made the post, this story could gain steam as it's picked up by other media outlets.
