It's bs and it's easy to know it's bs because he can't sign anything before July 8. Update your twitter feed.

Amare's already said he's getting traded to the Lakers about five times this week.

Re: Artest ro the Lakers?

I am renaming the title of this thread, just so we won't have a bunch pop-up.

The topic is Ron to LA? So, we are not hung up on Ron F-ing with people on twitter and people go crazy.

It's a valid option, Ron. Especially in the light of Ariza.

I would like Ron here if Ariza is out and would love Odom back too. I think we would be pretty solid going into 2009 with that crew.

Give Ron the MLE ( which he is most likely going to get anyway) Give him some player options so he can explore FA in the future.

apparently he did sign a deal tonight but its with the cavs not the lakers. Lebron is in LA trying to get him to sign with them. Its most likely he signed with the cavs.

Sure LeBron might be in LA but so is Kobe and Mitch.

That bastard. It would be awesome having him here in LA if Trevor is gone. I'm sure Ron Ron is hungry for a ring and L.A is definitly a squad that would be ready to contend for another championship. We wouldn't have to worry about Ron Ron trying to kill our players. If there is anybody who still doubts if the Lakers are tough, Ron Ron would help people understand that the Lakers aren't soft. If we do get him I hope he doesn't get ejected for some stupid reasons.

If he signed with the Cavs then it is one less place Ariza can go. I can't see Artest wanting to come off the bench in Cle and that could lead to a lot of headaches for Lebron. I mean between Sahq and Artest there will be an implosion by the allstar break.

dang.. so many artest threads. I actually don't want him due to his childish acts during the playoffs. He's so volatile that the refs ejected him and then took it back...etc.. True it'll be fun with him but right now these rumors aren't true until that date has passed hehe.

If Ariza leaves to play for the MLE somewhere else, just because Lakers aren't offering more than what other teams are offering, then all I have to say is "Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out Ariza." Lmao, no NBA team has a triple threat presence in Kobe, Gasol, Odom that will open up opportunities for Ariza like our team did. Ron Artest here we come.

Artest would be cool if Ariza left....but I just can't stand it when he decides to dribble the clock out and chuck up a fadeaway 3 pointer. I would rather the Lakers keep Ariza and Artest go to Cleveland because I really don't think he would work with LeBron and Shaq for a whole 82 games + playoffs.

Artest is Only if Ariza leaves but he may workout a deal with Shaq.

Remember F.A. Its cold in Cleveland in the winter, Its real cold in Toronto. Its cold in Portland

I really hope the Lakers work it out with Ariza.

Ron Ron is a short term thing. Plus at his age he is only going to perform in the playoffs and cruise in the reg.

Ariza has energy and legs to play hard all season.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
